Finely lobed leaves in beautiful shades of maroon and red that looks like the perfect Japanese Maple, but tolerates urban pollution and standing water. Pink hibiscus flowers are somewhat shy, but open at night. Grow this for the foliage. Can take heavy pruning to keep it the shape and size you want. Fertilize heavily and prune early for more blooms.
