Hymenocallis caribaea variegata
Also known as Caribbean Spider Lily. Showy umbels of vanilla-scented pure white flowers opening to look like a spider blooming mid-summer to late fall. Strongly variegated foliage all season long. Can be grown in water up to 6” over the crown. While the foliage looks similar to the common spider plant houseplant, this is definitely NOT the same with the spectacular flowers and water-loving capabilities.
