Echinodorus x barthii
Another underwater plant used in the aquarium trade. This one forms rosettes of oblong leaves 10-18” tall, which will rest on the water’s surface once it reaches that height. New leaves emerge a beautiful red with green veining, turning all green as it ages. Plant best in ½ day sun, for aquariums, red color is best when light intensity is the highest. Cold hardy to 25F.
