IWGS 2007 Best New Hardy Waterlily, hybridized by Pairat Songpanich of Thailand. A cross of the rich dark and full-flowering “Mayla’ crossed with ‘Perry’s Fire Opal.’ This one can be considered an improved but smaller ‘Mayla’ keeping the fullness of the bloom with richer colors and better blooming performance blooming all summer long. New pads that start red aging to green are also quite lovely
