A version of corkscrew rush that is the curliest of them all in a smaller habit than the species. An absolutely fun and delightful plant of crazy spirals in all directions, but the base stays in a nice tight clump. Can take hard trims and come back. Preferring full sun and always damp feet, curly wurly can be grown in regular garden soil, at the edge of the pond or in a container with the crown submerged up to 2”. Will overwinter in the twin cities given a good cover of mulch.
