Yes this is the one and the same 70’ deciduous conifer tree, so why are we selling this at the Water Garden Plant Sale? Well, one of our members has been growing it in a container in the pond for years, and she says it is beautiful and staying small in the pot like a bonsai. Sporting lovely feathery green foliage which turns a beautiful shade of bronze in the fall before dropping all its leaves. Needs full sun and prefers moist acidic sandy soil, but will tolerate roots in standing water. Keep it in a 1-gallon pot to prevent getting a large tree.
