Beijing Temple of Heaven
Nelumbo nucifera
Super saturated pink color featuring an emerald green receptacle with an unusually large fancy collar of heavy white anthers on the first day. As the flower ages, the receptacle and stamen go through vibrant color changes with something new every day. Leaves stand very tall. Incredible show from Yileen Gardens in Nanjing.
