Thalia, Powdery
Thalia dealbata
Dramatic clump of large, long, paddle-shaped blue-green leaves which sit atop strong upright stems. Foliage is covered in subtle white powder, giving a matte appearance. The plant is beautiful for foliage alone, but in mid to late summer, huge overarching stems emerge with a packed panicle of purple flowers near the tips which wave in the breeze and attracts pollinators. Can tolerate water up to 6” above the crown.
