Arrowhead, Crushed Ice
Sagittaria graminea
This is a rare but beautiful cultivar from our Minnesota Native Narrow-Leaved Arrowhead. Mottled creamy variegation in all sorts of patterns pepper the elongated upright leaves. Like the native, a spring spray of small white flowers enhance the show. Leaves stay strong and upright all season long, so this is a fantastic accent plant for the pond or container garden. Plant in part sun/shade with crowns +/- 4” from water’s surface. Edible tubers used by Native Americans, also beloved by wildlife.
