Our Minnesota Native Iris that adds beauty to any pond or lakeshore. A true water-iris, it can handle the crown a few inches below water, but prefers the crown slightly above water. Strong upright foliage stays green all summer long, and in spring, the periwinkle-blue flowers are a knockout, especially against the water’s reflection. Also, a great plant for rain gardens, and really anywhere in the garden where soil remains constantly moist. Can be planted in natural waterways.
