Really darling Minnesota Native miniature of the larger horsetail. Everything about it is cute, including the prehistoric segmented foliage. Grows well in shallow streams, near pond edges or in a container garden. Keep in a container to get tighter denser clumps. Beautiful in a smaller single pot. Unlike the water horsetail equisetum fluviatale, this plant will not fade in the summer or fall, often staying evergreen through winter. Can be planted in natural waterways.
