August 7 Pond Party at Bowman’s

New members Chad and Mel Bowman are anticipating meeting other ponders in person around their new water garden in River Falls, WI on Saturday, August 7th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. To make a reservation, send a $5 check to the Bowman’s at 1031 E. River Drive, River Falls WI 54022.
The hosts will decide what guidelines, if any, such as mask wearing, they will ask attendees to follow.
Chad and Mel Bowman are hosting the first pond party of 2021 at their home in River Falls, WI on Saturday, August 7th beginning at 2 p.m. The new ponders are eager to meet other water gardeners and learn more about their new hobby by hearing stories of successes and maybe a tale or two of woe. To make a reservation, send a check for $5 per person to Chad or Mel Bowman.The Bowmans invite anyone interested in fishing and/or kayaking/paddling the Kinnikinnick River to come early, before the party starts. A Wisconsin fishing license is required and a trout stamp to fish trout. Bring your own kayak/canoe or rentals are available at Kinni Creek Outfitters in River Falls.The Bowmans’ water garden is still a work in progress although the main 1600-gallon pond is finished.
