Art in the Garden
The Artful Garden is a PowerPoint presentation that explores the use of ornament as an integral part of garden design.  The discussion emphasizes how art can engage the viewer and create a more therapeutic garden experience.  Accompanied by numerous illustrative photos, the talk will focus on practical tips, such as how to incorporate art in the garden, what to choose and how and where to place it.

Diane McGann is an award-winning garden writer and columnist for Northern Gardener magazine.  She serves as a University of Minnesota Master Gardener and Tree Care Advisor.  Diane has both studied and taught landscape design.  She serves on the University of Minnesota Extension Ask an Expert panel and is a member of Garden Communicators International and the Washington County Horticulture Society.  Diane resides in Stillwater where she maintains extensive perennial and shade gardens on her 4-1/2 acre property.
